I was intrigued about Goot Essa Cheese facility after reading an article in the Lancaster Farming. My wife Betty and I took a beautiful drive through central PA to check it out. Upon arriving there, we were warmly greeted and given samples to try. We were also graciously given a tour of the cheese caves. In my opinion each one of the different types of cheese and especially the blue cheese (Der Edel Bleu) are among the best if not the best cheeses I’ve ever tasted. From the bite to the creamy finish each cheese is marvelous! Kudos to Bob Patton the cheese recipe designer, John Esh and family, the hardworking cheese makers and the rest of the Goot Essa team!
